Advancing Disaster Risk Governance with Birendranagar Municipality, Karnali Province

We conducted a focused presentation and interactive dialogue with elected representatives and municipal officials of Birendranagar Municipality on key elements of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, drawing on the DRRM Roadmap and briefing notes developed with support from UNDP under the SUPER Project. The engagement emphasized strengthening local disaster governance, enhancing preparedness mechanisms, and integrating risk-informed perspectives into municipal planning and decision-making processes.
