NIURS conducted a presentation and interactive discussion with Municipal Executive Committee members and staff of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City on the DRRM Roadmap and Briefing Notes, prepared in support of UNDP under the SUPER Project.

The session focused on strengthening municipal-level understanding of disaster risks, enhancing institutional preparedness, and promoting the integration of risk-informed planning and coordination mechanisms into local development processes. Participants engaged in constructive discussions on practical approaches to improving DRRM governance, the roles of municipal institutions, and aligning local actions with provincial and national DRRM frameworks.
